Better with Non-Human Company: On Earth and after arriving in Athia, Frey is shown to be much more open and friendlier to animals compared to human characters she interacts with.She gets her wish after being transported to Athia, which makes New York look like a walk in the park. Be Careful What You Wish For: Frey's goal in the beginning of the game involves her raising enough money to leave New York with her cat Homer, somewhere with "clean air, bright skies," etc.Being a powerful sorceress, the cloaks also help emphasize her sense of moment as she traverses the land. Badass Cape: Frey wears a variety of cloaks during her adventures in Athia.how do you miss something like that after pitioss.Frey: "I am Tanta Frey! Daughter of Cinta and protector of Athia! And I'm here to fuck you up! locked labyrinths needed platforming challenges. It just feels in that sort of Sonic Frontiers camp of this feels sort of like a fun proof of concept versus a great execution of the idea. but overall just moving around the world starts decent and keeps getting better and better. ![]() make your caves actual caves, not just cave entrances. But the general point is that these new spells should feel like rewards, not just plopped randomly into the open world, and you could use these dungeons to put more archive notes as well. ![]() Stuff like Castle Morne or the weird windmill village. Like this open world feels like it has the topography and filler aspects of something like Elden Ring pretty well done, but it lacks in not necessarily the big set piece legacy dungeons, but the sort of mid tier dungeons that game had. What if you could only climb up it once you have the fire traversal powers, and then if you follow all the way along it you end up in a distinctive looking castle with rocks coming out of it or something. But there are so many spots in the map where it feels like a half step - like the massive wall in praenost's home of heroes. So far the closest stuff to that seem to be the tantas' castles. it needs elden ring style legacy dungeons, and these dungeons should be where the mulberry founts are located, gated behind unique worldbosses. the fade to blacks kinda suck, but the bigger issue is being fixed in place for cuff chat, just let frey move a bit. It's called the blessed plains so maybe make it look ad. How about blue grass with golden trees and cliffs or something. ![]() There's literally endless colors you could choose. dear god the first 3 hours of open world after Cipal shouldn't be brown. magic grenade and magic pistol are not fun enough to carry the bulk of the early game. I think I saw rock fists suggested somewhere here, but yeah. Give Frey a melee option from the start. Just thinking of like, what changes could be made to make the game more amenable. Game feels weirdly AA at points but also as experimental as some of their smaller output from last year. ![]()
